As mentioned in our aims and objectives in the early week of December the Academy sent six under 15’s to Hawks football club for trials and two to Real De Banjul F.C all first Division sides in The Gambia. The players are Ebrima Bojang and Momodou Jatta to Real De Banjul whilst Sainey Jatta, Sainey Manneh, Amadou Bah, Alieu Jallow, Kisima Bojang and Kebba Saidy to Hawks youth team. These players are loaned to these bigger clubs so as to prepare them to complete for Brufut United F.C in the future. Notwithstanding a large number of our players will be lined up for the third Division qualifiers for Brufut United this year. On the 30^th December, Carole and Ricky Lawrence with their son Richard paid a visit to the Academy’s training ground during the two weeks stay in The Gambia. As their son Richard who also plays Academy football in England was on the ground, he joined in with other friends his age at the Academy for a days training on a pitch Richard never played on. Carole and Ricky were very happy of the Academy and promise to do their bit for us. You can see photos of Richard and Family on our donation page.
