LOUIS KEYERS AND FRIENDS MEET GILKOCK

 

 

 

 

Louis and Mieke Keyers and Marcha and Raad de Wildt of Maashees Town in Holland on Saturday February 16th visited and donated football materials to the Brufut Base Gilkock Football Academy. 

 

The couples, friends to the Inspirational Ebrima Jatta and Alia E.J, were accompanied to the academy’s training ground by Lamin Jatta, E.J’s brother.

 

On arrival, Louis who only met E.J online was quick to acknowledge the work done by the coaches of the academy noting the need to assist the academy and promise to do his best in assisting the Brufut base academy. Mr. Louis runs a sporting complex back in Holland and also work with a lot of sporting personalities. Louis before concluding his speech promised that he will continue to seek for more materials for the academy in the coming months.

 

On his part the financial Secretary of the Brufut Youth and Sport Development Committee, Ebrima Manneh Alias Nyaw on behalf of the entire community of Brufut thanked Louis and friends for the gesture and promised that the materials will be put into good use. He cited that the academy has and is continuing to produce brilliant players for the entire community of Brufut.  In conclusion he urges Louis and friends to strengthen the link by continuing to work closely with academy.

 

Secretary and Public relations Officer Sang Mendy in his vote of thanks, highlighted the problems of the academy which ranges from the insufficient football equipments, lack of an office for administrative work amongst others. Mendy, thank the group for the materials presented.
